Thank you so much to Sam and the Supercharger guys, you absolutely blew the roof off our wedding venue! Having searched exhaustively for just the right Indie Rock band for our wedding we were drawn in by the high quality musicianship and vocals, and sold on the set list and customer service. They put up with our awkward set list demands, and liaised back and forth as much as needed to make sure we were at ease and happy going into our special day. The only thing left was the show itself, and you guys delivered in spades. Every single guest bar none mentioned how blown away they were by you, and I will absolutely take any future opportunity going to book you again. Ten out of ten, five stars, A plus, one hundred percent, you were everything we could have hoped for.
Thank you for setting a bar and then raising it, you truly made the night.

We couldn’t have been any more happy that we did so – they were fabulous.
They have an extensive catalogue of classics, ranging from the 60’s up to the present day. We chose the songs and they filled 2 wonderful hour long sets. They even rehearsed and played an additional song at my prior request which just topped off the evening.
They turned up with ample time to spare and we really appreciated their relaxed, professional approach.

You may remember, we struggled to get the guests to leave the dance floor when the end of the evening was announced. If we hadn’t had to finish at a certain time, due to residential area and license, we would have had you play until daylight!

We decided very early on in the planning of our big day that it was going to be a festival-themed wedding. That meant that the band, or effectively headline act, needed to exude a number of qualities, including an extensive repertoire, a strong sound and most of all the ability to entertain a tipi full of revellers. When we came across the Superjets on Alive Network they seemed to embody all the characteristics we were looking for in a band, and more. Needless to say we booked them straight away.Leading up to the day of our nuptials, the band were easily contactable and always pleasant in their dealings with us, making themselves available through email, text message and phone call. This is something that can’t be overlooked, as when you are planning a wedding you need to know everything is going to run smoothly. The band were happy to answer any of our questions and even offered some suggestions to the running order of the day which were appreciated and taken onboard.
Which leads us to the day itself and they did not disappoint at all. From the moment they hit the stage they were of the highest calibre, packing out the dancefloor and interacting with the crowd between songs. They played songs from various genres and decades and each one was well received and played as the original artist intended. In fact at times it was hard to differentiate between the original recording and the Superjets version, which is a level of perfectionism that can’t be faulted. Having a good mix of music at an event like a wedding is key due to the range of ages and tastes in attendance and all of our guests got involved on the dancefloor. So good were the band in fact that one of our guests, renowned for never having a boogie, even dangled his toe over the edge of the dancefloor in appreciation of their talent.
We picked out a few songs prior to the wedding which we knew we wanted the band to play and each of these was delivered with sonic precision. The rest of the set the ‘jets chose themselves and every classic they belted out went down better than the last. From the Beatles to Queen, the Kinks to Guns N Roses, everything sounded fantastic. We had a Marryoke filmed on the day of the wedding and the band were only too happy to play Huey Lewis and the News’ ‘Power Of Love’ early on in their set. As the guests had been singing it all day it proved to be very popular and the rendition was spot on!
Both my wife and I are keen Nirvana fans and we mentioned to the band prior to the wedding that we wouldn’t mind them playing ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ but to obviously use their own gauge as to whether or not they felt it might go down well, after all we didn’t want to alienate those in attendance who didn’t appreciate the rockier side of music. We needn’t have worried however, they played it as their last song and it went down a storm, filling the dancefloor more than any other song and not just those with a penchant for heavier guitar based tunes. Dancing with our parents to Nirvana on our wedding day is a memory we will treasure forever.
If you are looking for a band that are talented, professional and most of all can fill a dancefloor then look no further, the Superjets are awesome! In the days following our wedding we were bombarded with comments about how amazing the band were and there was no argument from us, the Superjets made the best day of our lives even more special. One of my favourite moments of the night was my friend, almost in tears, shouting “It’s Huey Lewis, it’s bloody Huey Lewis!”. Her favourite song apparently!The band were super friendly from the start and there was no doubt that our wedding was in safe hands. They have a huge set list, and sound even better live than on their demo tracks. We go to a lot of live music, and these guys were up there with the best we’ve seen. It was like having Slash playing the guitar solos, and Matt Bellamy hitting the top notes on the Muse tracks. Awesome!
The dance floor was packed from start to finish, and they sorted the IPod music in between sets, accommodating lots of our requests. Everyone commented on how great they were, just a shame we didn’t have more time to rock on the night! Thanks so much to the Supercharger, and if anyone is still looking for a band then stop right here, you’ve found them!

You were fab in co-ordinating everything and always responded quickly to my questions and queries and it is very much appreciated. On the day the boys were amazing. Our guests all thought they were brilliant and many of them keep talking about the fact they were the best band they’d seen at a wedding! (We did not disagree of course!). The dance floor was packed as soon as they started to play the first song (even those who don’t normally get up and dance which was really great to see!!!). Our thanks to The Wagon Tales, Los Albertos, Chocolate Charlie and an extra big thank you to Supercharger. Unfortunately the drummer of Chocolate Charlie was taken ill and had to go to Hospital and his wife, the lead singer, had to go with him. We are glad to hear, that since then, the drummer is recovering well and we will have to have Chocolate Charlie back another year to finish their act. This meant we had to ask Supercharger to step in and produce yet another fine session. Even though they had pretty well exhausted both themselves and their playlist, they put together a great session which had the dance floor jam-packed.

On the night they were absolutely brilliant and had our guests on their feet from their first song right up to the end. All our guests (even our older guests) have all complimented the band, the mix of songs they played was perfect.
People were asking me how much they were and all agreed they were cheap for how good they are, and so much better than your typical wedding band. We were running a bit over time so they cut their break down to 15 minutes for us so we didn’t miss out on any of their set list. They dressed smartly for the occasion and Louise and Sam were so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough! Im just trying to find another occasion that I can have an excuse to use them!
Out of my whole day the 3 things that are was most pleased we booked was Supercharger, Mike Mayfield and a Photobooth!
We have had lots of comments from guests about how good Supercharger were and what a good range of tracks they played. We would definitely recommend them.
